My passions:
I am very passionate about sports, any sport! I grew up playing basketball, volleyball, swimming and softball. After high school, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology which then led to my Doctorate in Chiropractic. In order to fulfill my competitive drive during that time, I played competitive nationwide slow-pitch softball. Shortly after in 2012 that is when I began my CrossFit journey and began coaching in 2014.
I am also passionate about knowledge. Always learning and teaching! I have an extensive knowledge in Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics as it relates to human movement and performance. I love sharing that knowledge with my athletes in order to improve their performance. Becoming a CrossFit Coach has truly been a blessing and I look forward to seeing what the future holds in this community.

I grew up playing basketball, softball, tennis, track, volleyball, etc! I had a full volleyball scholarship for two years in college. I am very passionate about staying active, indoor and outdoor. I am always up for learning something new. Things that push and challenge your body! I discovered CrossFit in 2011,received my level 1 in 2013 and haven’t looked back! I am passionate about CrossFit not only because of the workouts but because of the community and what it has to offer. Seeing people progress forward in their health and strength is one of the most rewarding things as a coach! And, of course, my number one thing in life is my little family. My husband, Rene, and our three little ones. They push and motivate me to be a healthy and strong mother!

My passions:
I started my CrossFit journey in 2019 with a back to basics class here at CrossFit DSO. That launched an obsession with the gym and the people that workout here. Being an athlete my entire life I was constantly looking for something different than the normal gym experience and something that was challenging. I have had the opportunity to learn from the other coaches and finally decided to take the coaching leap myself. I am enjoying helping others discover the same thing in themselves that I was able to find in myself. I look forward to watching people break through their own barriers and do things they didn’t know they could.
